What Is a General Clean?
A General Clean is a scheduled day when all available members come together to clean, organize, and maintain the Cape Cod Makers facility. These events are essential to keeping our shared space safe, functional, and pleasant for everyone.
Why Participate?
As a shared community space, the makerspace only works well when everyone contributes to its upkeep. Participating in General Cleans is part of being a responsible member of our community.
What Happens?
- Organizing tools and returning them to designated storage locations
- Cleaning all work surfaces and floors
- Disposing of scrap material and trash
- Identifying tools that need maintenance or repair
- Light facility maintenance tasks
Lunch is typically provided as a thank-you to all participants. Come in work clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
