Creating with Electricity – Tuesday, August 6, 2013

Lightning_strike_jan_2007Have you wanted to learn about electricity, but weren’t sure where to start? In this class, we will create electric circuits using everyday objects and materials, with some crafting and computing as well. Materials that we will experiment with include: metallic tape, conductive thread, wires, and conductive paints. We will make circuits that use LEDs, motors and switches and can be combined with artistic forms, clothing, and computer controllers. Participants do not need to bring any special tools or materials. This is a one-session class of 2-3 hours.
